This is a piece of artwork created on my computer. It isn't exactly original, but I still like it. It is Death from the comic book Sandman This isn't your normal scythe-wielding grim reaper, though. She watches Mary Poppins and once every hundred years lives as a mortal for one day. Anyway, the orginal is by Mike Dringenberg taken from the portrait he did for DC's Who's Who of the DC Universe. I liked the drawing so much, I wanted it as a backdrop for my Amiga 1200. I drew it from the comic into my computer using Deluxe Paint AGA. Then, I got a pentium, decided I wanted the picture as a backdrop on that computer as well, and modified it using Fractal Design Painter 3.1. All the gradient fills are FDP, all the rest is Deluxe Paint. Someday I will smooth it all out.
